What Meyer means by explaining that lie is a cooperative act is that it is for sure. People will let others deceive them or tell them false statements that may seem truthful but in reality, they are not. Whether it is from people we trust like friends or family or another classmate, we all have experienced these moments where we are lied to. People lie to hide secrets, cover up something, make you find out the truth, and many other ways. Lying is cooperative because it is something that can occur easily any day of the week.
