With my first year of college almost completed, there have been many new items that I have learned this year than I have learned in high school. In high school, many things aren't taught to us. Examples include being introduced to APA format, what professors are like, and what your college life consists of. I wish I would've been told in high school how to APA format because I had to teach myself to create a cover page and how it differs when writing a paper from just MLA. I wish I would've been told more about the opportunities that exist at college. There are many more opportunities than just clubs. There are service opportunities, jobs, and many ways to connect with others that haven't been introduced and used in high school.
